Volunteering

Are you a solicitor or barrister with experience in civil law? Contact us to discuss how you can use your valuable skills and experience to help people who would not otherwise have access to legal advice. Join our mission to ensure equal access to justice for everyone!

Our volunteer advisers typically offer advice on housing, small claims, consumer and contract matters, family law, civil litigation, immigration and Wills and probate. Advice can be given remotely or at our face-to-face evening sessions in East Greenwich.

To volunteer as an adviser, you must be either a qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate or a practising barrister, and you must have experience in the area of law on which you wish to advise.

We are also interested in speaking with law firms wishing to set up pro bono initiatives for their staff.

All advice given through EGLAC is covered by our professional indemnity insurance.

If you would like to volunteer as an adviser for EGLAC, please send your CV and a covering letter to . Thank you for your interest in joining our wonderful team!
